Abstract The reaction of fluorinated phenylthioureas, with some new fluorine-containing 3-(2- oxocycloalkylidene) indol-2-ones (2) in ethanolic KOH medium, yielded a series of new fluorine containing 5′, 6′-cyclopenta-2′-thioxo-3′-phenyl spiro [3H-indole-3, 4′(3′ H)- pyrimidin]-2 (1H)-ones and 2′, 4′ a, 5′, 6′, 7′, 8′,-hexahydro-2′-thioxo-3′-phenyl spiro [3H-indole-3, 4′(3′ H)-quinazolin]-2 (1H)-ones in 55–68% yields.
