Abstract: Reactions of alkenes with dichloroborane ethyl etherate (BHCIyEE) and alkynes with dichloroborane tetrahydrofuranate (BHCITTHF) and BHC12. EE were investigated in detail. The hydroboration of alkenes with BHCIz-EE in ether or pentane is slow and incomplete.
