Abstract A general procedure for solvent-free N-arylations of nitrogen-containing heterocycles, ie imidazoles, triazoles, and indoles, with aryl and heteroaryl halides catalyzed by copper (I) oxide (Cu 2 O) nanoparticles is demonstrated.
