摘要

Two new pyranocoumarins were synthesized via one-pot, microwave-assisted pseudo multicomponent condensations of coumarin and 4-methylquinoline to investigate their molecular switching properties. Both are light-sensitive and have a distinct change of color upon UV irradiation.
