Abstract Complexes of the general formula R 3 SnX, where X is the anion of benzoic acid, o- , m-, p-amino-or N-phenyl-o-amino-benzoic acid, have been prepared and characterised. A combination of molecular weight, infrared, 1 H NMR and 119 Sn Mössbauer measurements show that, the amino-nitrogen atoms are not coordinated to tin.
