Abstract: The cycloaddition of cyclobutadiene and benzocyclobutadiene to 3, 6-disubstituted s-tetrazines gives rise in a single manipulation to derivatives of the exo, exo-11, 12- diazatetracyclo [4.4. 2. Oz~ 6. O~~ 1~] dodeca. 3, 8, 1 1-triene system.
