摘要

The cleavage of tetrahydrofuran (THF) with acyl chlorides to give 4-chlorobutyl esters is a useful reaction, particularly in the synthesis of natural products and polyfunctional molecules where a four-carbon chain is required to be added. [ 1 1. (a) Bhatt , MV ; Kulkarni , SU Cleavage of ethers
