Abstract Tricarbonyl (6-hydroxy-2, 4-cycloheptadien-1-one) iron derived from tricarbonyl (tropone) iron was easily oxidized to give tricarbonyl (2, 4-cycloheptadiene-1, 6-dione) iron.
