摘要

C, 8H, 5N02, mp 248-249O, was synthesised by oxidation of 7-methylbenz [clacridin with osmium tetroxide in pyridine-chloroform. t5 The two dihydrodiols are not identical, nor are the corresponding diacetates tcis-diacetate (3d), C22H, 9N04, mp 351-3530; trans- diacetate(3b), C22H, gN04, mp 253-255'1. The trans-dihydrodiol(3a) was likely formed on ring-opening of the inter---mediate 5, 6-epoxide(2a) bytrifluoroacetic acid, The solvolysis ...
