The first synthesis of 3??O?螃漫?d??glucopyranosyl??(3 R)??hydroxybutanolide (Kinsenoside) and 3??O?螃漫?d??glucopyranosyl??(3 S)??hydroxybutanolide (Goodyeroside A) is described.
