The paper describes the synthesis and antileishmanial activity of N-substituted imines, obtained from the reactions of primary amines with three biologically important aldehydes/ketones, thiophene-2-carbaldehyde, 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde (salicylaldehyde) and indoline-2, 3-dione.
