Abstract A series of symmetrically and asymmetrically substituted s-triazines was synthesized by condensation of fluorocarbon nitriles (Scheme II, compounds 1a-c) and by cyclodehydration of a fluorocarbon imidoylamidine utilizing a fluorocarbon anhydride (Scheme III, compounds 2a-e).
