Abstract Chemical examination of the methanolic extract of the roots of Cassia pudibunda led to isolation of the new rubrofusarin-6-O-β-d-glucopyranoside, quinquangulin-6-O-β-d- apiofuranosyl-(1→ 6)-O-β-d-glucopyranoside, quinquangulin-6-O-β-d-glucopyranoside and chrysophanol dimethyl ether.
