Similar cyclocondensation products, 5-trifluoromethyl-NH NaH/1, 4-dioxanel H 'N\ Y isoxazoles 8, were obtained in 80-90% yields when com—3 (R1= H)+ Y_ C”-9'_T-* L—>|\ l/pounds 3 reacted regioselectively with hydroxylamine 'NH2 “7'9%/N hydrochloride (5) in the presence of potassium carbonate R'at reflux (Scheme 1).
