摘要

Combinatorial solid-phase chemistry is gaining momentum throughout the pharmaceutical industry as a powerful tool for preparing libraries of druglike organic molecules. 1 Recent advances have been reviewed. 2 In general terms, solid-phase chemistry can be broken down into three components:(1) the solid support, often a polystyrene resin;(2) the product molecule; and (3) the chemical tether (linker), which connects the two.
