摘要

Vanillovanillone (4, 4'-dihydroxy-3, 3'-dimethoxybenzophenone) was synthesized from vanillil vie the benzilic acid rearrangement of the bis-benzyl ether of vanillil and oxidative decarboxylation of the bis-benzyl ether of vanillilic acid thus obtained.
