The chemistry of methyl-and ethyl-iso-ureas (oxygen ethers of urea) and their acyl derivatives has been studied mainly by Stieglitz and his collaborators, 1i2, s and by Wheeler and J~ hnson.~ More recently EA Werner5 has made important contributions to this field of study.
