甘露醇制备
1.甘露醇可从海带中提取,也可以从海藻中提取,但较多采用葡萄糖或蔗糖溶液电解还原或催化还原的方法。下面分别简单介绍。
(1)从海带中提取的方法 将干海带加适量水常温浸泡使其溶胀后不断搅拌使甘露醇溶入水中。将洗水液用烧碱调PH值为12以上,使其沉淀16H以上。再用1∶1的硫酸调PH值为中性后蒸发浓缩至相对密度为1.30~1.32时冷却,上层清液再蒸发浓缩至相对密度为1.42~1.45时,趋热离心除盐,浓缩液冷却结晶,离心分离得甘露醇粗品。将粗品用沸水重结晶,活性炭脱色、醇洗脱氯离子、干燥等操作得纯品甘露醇。
(2)电解还原法 以葡萄糖或蔗糖为原料,配成适宜浓度的溶液后,用硫酸钠调整PH值为7.0后加入电解槽进行电解。电解液经活性炭脱色、真空浓缩、乙醇脱盐、冷却结晶、离心等操作后得粗品甘露醇。粗品甘露醇再经重结晶后得精品。
(3)催化还原法 催化还原法是将蔗糖溶液经水解、中和、催化加氢等操作制得山梨糖醇和甘露糖醇粗品溶液,再经过滤、活性炭脱色、离子交换、浓缩、结晶、分离等操作得甘露醇精品。

3.还原法 蔗糖水解生成的葡萄糖和果糖再还原生成山梨糖醇和甘露糖醇的混合物,再经脱色、分离和纯化得甘露糖醇。
