1.以乙醇胺为原料，与尿素缩合得到β-羟乙基脲，用亚硝化，环合得到3-亚硝基-2-唑烷酮。进一步用铁粉还原，再与5-硝基-2-糠二醇二乙酸酯及甲醛缩合，即得呋喃唑酮。
2.由乙醇胺与尿素缩合，经亚硝酸钠亚硝化、环合，最后用铁粉还原后与5-硝基-2-糠二醇二乙酸酯及甲醛缩合得呋喃唑酮。
