Sulfamethizole是磺胺噻唑类抗生素,能抑制细菌的PABA。

磺胺甲二唑作用

磺胺甲噻二唑是细菌对氨基苯甲酸(PABA)的竞争性抑制剂,PABA是二氢蝶酸合成酶的底物。 在这些生物体中,抑制反应是合成叶酸所必需的。 磺胺甲噻二唑是二氢蝶酸合成酶的抑制剂和叶酸的形成,抑制生物发光而不是生长。 用磺胺甲噻二唑处理导致来自敏感菌株(MIC,128微克/毫升)和抗性菌株(MIC,512微克/毫升)的所有样品中细菌计数的显着减少。 用sulⅡ基因阳性菌株(MIC,> 2,048微克/毫升)感染不能用磺胺甲噻二唑治疗,因为在尿液,膀胱或肾脏中没有效果。
