3,3'-二甲基联苯胺制备

1.用锌粉（或硅铁粉）在苛性钠介质中将邻硝基甲苯还原为2，2′-二甲基对称二苯肼，然后在22.5%的硫酸及焦亚硫酸钠（或盐酸）存在下，重排生成3,3'-二甲基联苯胺硫酸盐（或盐酸盐），再加30%液碱，脱酸而得成品。

2.制法以工业品联邻甲苯胺为原料，提纯得试剂联邻甲苯胺。将相对密度为1.60的15kg工业盐酸加入200L蒸馏水中，加热至50～60℃，搅拌下慢慢加入12kg工业联邻甲苯胺，完全溶解后依次加入活性炭和偏锡酸搅拌过滤，滤液再加偏锡酸过滤一次，所得滤液在充分搅拌下慢慢加入50～60℃5%的氨水至溶液ph值为8～9，趁热过滤，所得结晶用蒸馏水洗涤至洗液ph＝7后，再用蒸馏水溶解，加入用氨水调至ph值5～6的EDTA酸的水溶液，搅拌均匀后放置24h（其间要不断搅拌），然后过滤，并用蒸馏水洗涤一次，滤干即为成品。
