【用途一】
本品可与聚氯乙烯、氯乙烯-乙酸乙烯共聚物、聚乙烯醇缩丁醛、乙酸丁酸纤维素、硝酸纤维素、乙基纤维素、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、聚苯乙烯等树脂相容,但与乙酸纤维素、聚乙酸乙烯酯不相容。本品的增塑效率与DOP相同,但耐寒性、耐候性、耐挥发性及对增塑糊粘度的稳定性均比DOP好,电绝缘性比DOP稍差。因价格高,应用不广泛。本品属无毒增塑剂,可用于制作食品包装材料。本品还用作溶剂和气相色谱固定液。
【用途二】
气相色谱固定液,选择性保留和分离芳香族化合物、不饱和化合物以及各种含氧化合物(醇、醛、酮、酯等)。溶剂。增塑剂。
【用途三】
用于ICP-AES、AAS、AFS、ICP-MS、离子色谱等。滴定分析用标准溶液。

邻苯二甲酸二辛酯制备

1.由苯酐与正辛醇在常压下酯化生产将苯酐、正辛醇、苯、硫酸加入反应釜,搅拌下慢慢加热升温,至苯及水开始蒸出。苯水混合气经冷凝器冷凝后,由苯水分离器分出水分,苯回流至釜内继续蒸发带水。当没有水带出时,酯化反应完成,然后回收苯,冷却、碱洗、水洗、干燥、减压蒸馏,即得成品。

2.由苯酐与正辛醇减压下酯的生产分为间歇法和连续法两种。

(1)间歇法适用于小批量生产。物料配比为苯酐∶辛醇=1∶2(质量比),硫酸为总物料的0.25%~0.3%,酯化时加入的活性炭为总物料量的0.1%~0.3%。酯化温度为150℃,酯化时真空度0.093MPa左右,酯化时间约为3h。粗酯洗涤的热水温度为80~85℃。蒸馏回收辛醇的温度为130~140℃,真空度不低于0.093MPa。成品若要求为优质品,需将脱醇后的粗酯进行蒸馏,再经压滤。

(2)连续法适于大规模生产。首先进行单酯化,物料配比为苯酐∶辛醇=1∶1.6(质量比),硫酸用量为总量的0.5%,反应温度为120℃,单酯化反应生成透明均一的液体。第二步酯化在塔中进行,单酯液连续进入塔内,在130~150℃、真空度大于0.093MPa下连续酯化。粗酯以1/5体积的50℃水进行洗涤,以2%~3%的纯碱液于60~70℃下连续中和;中和后的粗酯液以1∶1体积的70~80℃的水洗涤。然后加入活性炭0.1%,在真空度0.097MPa、温度为150℃的条件下连续脱醇。脱醇后酯液在100~120℃下压滤,得成品。

精制方法:含有游离的酸、醇和邻苯二甲酸一辛酯等杂质。精制时用稀的氢氧化钠溶液洗涤,无水碳酸钾或硫酸钠干燥后减压蒸馏。

3.对甲苯磺酸催化法 在装有温度计、分水器、回流冷凝管的三口烧瓶中依次加入0.05mol的邻苯二甲酸、0.15mol正辛醇、1g对甲苯磺酸和0.1g活性炭,混合均匀,分水器中加入正辛醇直至与支管口相平,用电子调温电热套加热,待邻苯二甲酸固体消失后,迅速升温至160℃,控制反应温度在160~180℃,回流分水1h。反应结束后,将反应液冷至室温,用等体积饱和食盐水洗涤2~3次,使之呈中性,粗产物中加入少量活性炭,先在水泵减压下蒸去正辛醇,再用油泵减压蒸馏,收集224~234℃的馏分,得淡黄色透明微有气味的油状液体。
