In Vitro DB772 inhibits BVDV in primary sheep microglia and Rov9 cells[2]. DB772 (0.05 μM) is sufficient to completely inhibit HoBi virus replication[2]. DB772 acts as an antiviral agent for use against Hepatitis C virus[2]. DB772 (1 μM) significantly reduces PrPSc-positive spots by 65.8%±5.7%. DB772 (4 μM) results in a nearly complete inhibition of PrPSc accumulation in scrapie-infected primary ovine microglia[3].
