A highly potent, selective mutant p53 (R175H, R249S, R273H, R273C) reactivator; exhibits potent cytotoxic activity against BT474 (p53 E285K) cell line (IC50=0.6 uM) as compared to wt p53 A549 (IC50=2.8 uM) and HeLa (IC50 = 4 uM) cells; enhances PARP cleavage, activates caspase 3 expressions and induces apoptosis.
