Distinctin is an antimicrobial peptide. Distinctin can be isolated from frog skin. Distinctin has antibacterial activity against E. faecalis, P. aeruginosa, S. aureus and E. coli (MIC: 14.5, 28.0, 28.0, 14.5 μM)[1].
