Biological Activity

[Description]:

Malonyl CoA is a substrate for fatty acid biosynthesis and an inhibitor of fatty acid oxidation. Malonyl CoA is also a reversible inhibitor of mitochondrial carnitine palmitoyltransferase (CPT) 1[1][2].
