Dibenzyl phthalate, a diaryl phthalate, is extensively used as a plasticizer to modify the properties of the synthetic resin substrates, resulting in the improvement of flexibility and durability of the end products. Dibenzyl phthalate has estrogen agonist/antagonist properties[1][2].
