Biological Activity

[Description]:

3-(Trifluoromethyl)benzaldehyde is an active compound, and can be used for the synthesis of 2,3-di- and 2,2,3-trisubstituted-3-methoxycarbonyl-γ-butyrolactones. 2,3-di- and 2,2,3-trisubstituted-3-methoxycarbonyl-γ-butyrolactones are potent antitumor agents[1].
