[In Vivo]

Propiomazine (0.2 mg/kg, nasal administration, rats) is quickly absorbed, followed by rapid reduction of the plasma concentrations[3]. Propiomazine (25 mg/kg, i.p., at 0 and 3 h after challenge) protects rats against CCl4-induced hepatic injury[4]. Propiomazine (0.31-20 mg/kg, i.v.) increases plasma prolactin concentrations in rats[5].
