Aurein 3.1 is an antibiotic antimicrobial peptide. Aurein 2.6 is active against Gram-positive bacterial (MIC: 80, 50, 50, 50, 50 μM for M. luteus, S. aureus, S. epidermis, S. mutans, B. subtilis)[1][2].
