Biological Activity

[Description]:

C18-Ceramide can promote exocytosis of glutamate from damaged neurons. C18-Ceramide promotes cell death in glioma cells. Ceramides is involved in diverse cellular functions, such as differentiation, cell cycle progression, cell-cell adhesion, senescence, and apoptosis[1].
