Methyl 4-iodo-L-phenylalaninate hydrochloride can be used for the preparation of factor XI modulators used in the research of thrombotic and thromboembolic. Methyl 4-iodo-L-phenylalaninate hydrochloride can also be used for the synthesis of compounds for the research of amyloid-related diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease[1][2].
