Satralizumab, a humanized monoclonal antibody, is a potent Interleukine-6 (IL-6) inhibitor. Satralizumab prevents dTAA formation and progression in rattus norvegicus. Satralizumab can be used for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) and descending thoracic aorta aneurysm (dTAA) research[1][2].

[In Vivo]

Satralizumab (120 mg, Subcutaneously, once every 2 weeks, for 4 weeks) prevents dTAA formation and progression in rattus norvegicus[1]. Animal Model: Rattus norvegicus (forty, male, 10-week-old, four equal groups)[1] Dosage: 120 mg Administration: Subcutaneously, once every 2 weeks, for 4 weeks Result: Prevented dTAA (descending thoracic aorta aneurysm) formation and progression.
