Abstract
Abstract Cleavage of fulvenes under mild conditions and interchange between electron- deficient fulvenes and their constituent cyclopentadienes and imines is demonstrated for the first time. A series of cyclopentadienes and imines are investigated to probe the dependence of fulvene equilibration on structure.
