Abstract
Multifunctionalized 1-trimethylsilyl 1, 3-dienes often exhibit high reactivity and regio-and stereospecificity toward dienophiles' and electrophiles. 2 Consequently, these dienes are becoming well established as useful intermediates in organic synthesis, suggesting that efficient synthetic methods3 for their preparation are desirable.
