The rates of catalytic oxidative decontamination of the chemical warfare agent (CWA) sulfur mustard (HD, bis (2-chlororethyl) sulfide) and a range (chloroethyl) sulfide simulants of variable lipophilicity have been examined using a hydrogen peroxide-based microemulsion system.
