Abstract

Highlights ► Ethylenediamine dinitrate and diethylenetriamine trinitrate are explosive compounds. ► A standard genetic toxicity battery was used to evaluate genotoxicity potentials. ► Ethylenediamine dinitrate was mutagenic only in strain TA 100. ► Diethylenetriamine trinitrate was negative in all genetic toxicity tests. ► These results show the in vivo and in vitro genotoxicity potentials.
