Abstract

Abstract ω-Conotoxin GVIA is a potent, irreversible antagonist of N-type voltage gated Ca 2+ channels. A radiofluorinated analogue of GVIA could be useful in assessing regional synaptic density of the brain, in vivo, using positron emission tomography.
