Abstract
Mixtures of cis-and trum-CsIF402 were prepared by the interaction of CsI04 with either anhydrous HF, BrFS, ClF3, CIFt or F2. The vibrational spectra of these mixtures were recorded, and partial assignments are given for cis-and trum-IF402-. The assignments for trans-IF40~ were supported by a normal-coordinate analysis.
