Abstract
Highlights • DZN increased MDA level in the heart of rat and elevated CK-MB activity. • DZN induced histopathological damages in the heart of rat. • DZN induced mitochondria mediated apoptosis in the heart of rat. • Crocin attenuated all toxic effects induced by DZN.
