Abstract

Caught in a web: Photo-cross-linkable temperature-responsive polymer-based nanofiber webs have been synthesized that have the ability to capture, encapsulate, and release cells by dynamically transforming the fibrous structure into hydrogel-like structures by wrapping, swelling, and deswelling processes in response to external temperature changes (see picture).Copyright © 2012 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co.
