Abstract
Abstract A novel reaction involving cyano transfer from benzophenone cyanohydrin to aldehydes and imines was realized by using dibutyltin dimethoxide as a catalyst. Various cyanohydrins and α-amino nitriles were obtained in moderate to high yields by this reaction.
