Abstract
Both the lack of asserted procedures regarding the synthesis of carboxylic acids and the fact that only aryl halides are described as precursors in this kind of procedures, encouraged us to investigate the scope and limitations of hydroxycarbonylation reactions, particularly of vinyl and aryl triflates, by mean of fast and safe conditions.
