Abstract

P hotodon of (N-acety~ ycyl) oligopeptide-linked anthraquinone molecules was investigated. In an acetonitrile solution, the photoexcited anthraquinone moiety abstracted intramolecularly the hydrogen atom of the methylene site of glycine residue.
