Abstract
Abstract First and second-generation rigid dendrimers based on polyphenylated tetrahedral adamantane cores with four or sixteen peripheral phosphonate moieties, PD1 and PD2, respectively, were synthesized and characterized. Further reaction of the dendritic phosphonates with tungstic acid in the presence of hydrogen peroxide led to the stepwise in situ formation of mono-and dinuclear phosphoperoxotungstates.
