Abstract
Prompted by a desire to prepare a bisannulated homotropilidene whose localized cis- divinylcyclopropane structure might be sufficiently destabilized to force adoption of neutral homoaromatic character, a study of the reducibility of difunctional syn-dimethanoperhydro-s- hydrindacenes was undertaken.
