Abstract

Abstract An efficient method for the quantitative conversion of 1-substituted alkenyl (phenyl) silanes into the corresponding alkenylsilanols has been developed and used in their palladium (0)-catalyzed, tetrabutylammonium fluoride-promoted cross-coupling reaction with aryl iodides.
