Abstract
&dimethyl-6-aminopyrimidine, 2-methyl-6-oxypyrimidine-5-methylene sulfonic acid3 and the mode of linkage of the two nuclei indicated by the presence of quaternary nitrogen in the vitaminI4 a synthesis of the vitamin was undertaken.
