Abstract

Résumé/Abstract The oxidation of meta-and para-substituted anilines by Cr VI oxidant, imidazolium fluorochromate (IFC), in aqueous acetic acid mixtures of varying compositions in the presence of p-toluenesulfonic acid (PTS) is first order in IFC and PTS.
