Abstract
By A4LAN FRANCIS TWLEY. lr; Part I of this series (J., 1922, 121, 1562) the scope of the proposed investigation was defined as (i) the determination of the limit of size of rings which can be attached to the ortho-positions of the benzene nucleus, and (ii) an enquiry into the possibility of synihesising such rings in the meta-and para-series.
